Miller Brewing Campaign Comes to an Abrupt End

The Cat Fight comes to an end!

"THE "Cat Fight" commercials for Miller Lite beer, among the most contentious and talked-about series of spots created by Madison Avenue in recent years, are coming to an abrupt end. The sponsor, Miller Brewing, has apparently decided it does not want the image of its largest brand to be defined by a sexual sell, especially when consumers do not seem to be buying.
The commercials, by Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide in New York, became the focus of intense buzz as soon as the first one began running in January. The spots, including one that began running this week and serves as a finale for the series, are the latest examples of a trend toward using more frank and provocative sexual imagery to sell products."
