British Menswear firm Burton chastised over 'violent' ads

"Men's fashion retailer Burton has been criticised by the Advertising Standards Authority for condoning violence against women in its advertising.
The watchdog upheld a complaint against the advertisement, which featured a cartoon talking dartboard showing a semi-naked woman with targets over her breasts. Captions next to the image read: "Hit the target and I squeal with delight" and "Every man can score with this babe".
nsumers pointing out it was unsuitable for a "family" shop.
The ASA ruled that, in the context of the Burton Christmas Catalogue, the advertisement was "likely to cause serious or widespread offence and could be seen to condone violence against women".
