Read Announcements

To view and read announcements, click Announcements in the Course Tools Menu.

In the picture to the left, you'll notice that there is a green star beside Announcements.

The star indicates that there is some new information that you have not looked at yet. Sometimes when instructors post announcements, they select the option to also create a pop-up so that as soon as you log on to Blackboard the message will appear in a small dialogue box; therefore, always read pop-up boxes!

Some instructors post announcements directly on the home page of the course, so be sure to look to both these places for new and important information.
