Students often have questions about how to download files from Blackboard when using Explorer Internet Browser. Sometimes, when a file link is clicked, a bar will appear just underneath the address bar in the browser, indicating that a file download was blocked.

Generally, this is a browser’s built-in security issue and is not specific to Blackboard/WebCT.
