Collaborative Conflict Negotiation

In the following project, students in a master's program were given the task of creating and acting out a mediation negotiation. The group made up of Debbie, Karen and Carla decided to find another more relevant scenario rather than the ones offered by the professor. They decided to choose a scenario that included a conflict between online students and they decided to animate their conflict mediation in a free program called MovieStorm. Because the professor allowed the students to go beyond the bounds of the project, students were able to investigate an area that was more relevant to their own interests. With a basic overview the professor provided the students with the opportunity to construct their own learning and produce reusable content.
