A Classroom Disguised as a Spacecraft Empowers Students

Sharon Campbell's art elective at Redwood Middle School in Napa, California, explores math, physics, physical fitness, energy conservation in a simulated space craft. Campbell's Masters degree focused on classroom environments, and it shows. Her students touch feel and manipulate objects, and they make use of concepts learned in their other classes.
